Morning Prayer to Start Your Day
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for this new day. Please help me to begin this morning with a positive attitude and a heart full of gratitude. Clear my mind so that I may hear your voice and guide me in your plan for this day. Strengthen my mind to accept all things and for the ability to see and hear this morning. I am blessed because you are a forgiving and understanding God who constantly blesses me.
Forgive me for anything I have said, done, or thought that was not pleasing to you. Protect me from harm and danger, and help me to respond with grace when faced with challenges. I know that even when I am unable to pray, you hear my heart. Use me to do your will and continue to bless me, so that I may bless others. Keep me strong to help the weak and lift me up to offer words of encouragement to others.
I pray for those who are lost, misunderstood, and do not know you intimately. I pray for those who do not believe, but I know that you have the power to change hearts. I pray for my family, for peace, love, and happiness in their homes, and for all their needs to be met. I remind myself that there is no problem or circumstance greater than you. Every battle is in your hands.
I pray that these words will be received into the hearts of all who read them.
